Tortuguero 2 Day Tour
One Night in Tortuguero National Park
Departure: Daily Departures from San Jose City.
Duration: 2 days 1 night. Full Board Plan.
Pick Up Time: Depending on your hotel between 5:30 am and 6:30 am.

This is an example of how it could be your tour. The itinerary may vary due to weather conditions, river levels, etc.
Day one
6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. We will be picking you up at your hotel in San Jose. Then, for an hour and a half admire the biodiversity of a protected area, while we pass through the Braulio Carrillo´s National Park.
8:30 a.m. Enjoy our delicious typical breakfast en route. (*)
10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Your boat tour starts. We will board a comfortable boat and thus the adventure will begin to enjoy this enchanting paradise, while navigating through beautiful rivers, canals and lagoons.
1:00 p.m. Arrival to the Lodge, enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail and a delicious lunch. Hotels: Pachira Lodge Hotels, Laguna Lodge, Mawamba, Turtle or similar.
2:45 p.m. You will visit the Green turtle museum (STC). Will walk on the beach. We will visit the small town of Tortuguero, with all its Caribbean charm. Does not include entrance to the museum ($1). You will enjoy the nature of Tortuguero.
7:00 p.m. Dinner at the Lodge.
Optional Tour
- Walk along the beach and admire the spawning of the Green turtle (July through October).
Day two
5:45 a.m. Your tour guide will take you by boat to one of the most enchanting sites in the region: Tortuguero National Park, where you will explore the lagoons and hidden canals. Enjoy nature in all its splendor by touring the Canals by boat at sunrise and take your best photos in the jungle.
7:00 a.m. Discover the flavors of Costa Rica enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Lodge.
9:30 a.m. Departure to San José.
1:00 p.m. Lunch on route. (*)
4:30 p.m. Approximate time of arrival in San Jose or intermediate points.
(*) Depends on conditions it could be changed for a light breakfast or snack on the bus.

- Bus transportation in air-conditioned unit from San Jose (back & forth)

- One-night accommodation/room in Tortuguero.

Not included: Alcoholic drinks, bottled water, tips, fee to the national park ($15USD paid directly in Tortuguero). Turtle nesting tour.
Luggage: The weight must not exceed 25 pounds or 12 kilos per person.
